Langdon is located in Sullivan County, New Hampshire.  It is situated 70 miles from Manchester and 120 miles from Boston.  The town was named for Governor John Langdon. 

Langdon is home to two covered bridges; the Prentiss Covered Bridge, which is New Hampshire’s shortest covered bridge, and the McDermott Bridge.  Outdoor recreational opportunities in town include fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Langdon was home to 586 residents, 237 households and 174 families.
